Brief History of Regional Express Airlines (REX):
Regional Express Pty Ltd (also known as Rex), is an airline based in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.
The airline was established in 2002 when the Australia wide Airlines consortium (set up by former Ansett employees) acquired Hazelton Airlines and Kendell Airlines and started operations in August 2002 as Rex.
On 30 August 2005 Rex announced the staged purchase of Pel-Air; Pel-Air became a wholly-owned subsidiary in June 2007. On 30 November 2005, Rex announced the acquisition of the Dubbo based Air Link, another regional airline.
In October 2007 Rex expanded into Queensland when it commenced operations between Brisbane and Maryborough. Rex is Australia's largest regional airline outside the Qantas group of companies and
serves the Eastern States and South Australia.

On the face of the card has an image of a Rex Saab 340.
On the rear of the pass is a magnetic strip and has written:
"Guests must be accompanied by a member of the Rex Lounge who is also traveling on Regional Express.
Entry of guests is subject to space availability.
This card must be returned to Regional Express prior to boarding.
Failure to do so may lead to the members membership being canceled.
This card is not transferable and remains the property of Regional Express.
Use of this card is deemed acceptance of the Rex Lounge terms and conditions of use." |

Rex Fourth Year Anniversary Book Marks

On the face of the bookmark has a pressed flower with a mountain lake scene as a background with stylised "Rex turns 4" written on the bottom of the face.
On the rear of the bookmark is written: "As part of our 4th anniversary celebrations, Rex has partnered with Care Channels to bring you this unique gift of appreciation. Care Channels is an NGO whose charter is to bring work and dignity to the families living in the slums of Manila. This project has assured the livelihood of 25 families for one year.
